How To Vote As a United States citizen, it is your job to vote and make sure your voice is heard. It's easy to do, so please register today! You may register to vote in California if you are a citizen of the United States and a resident of California. You must also be 18 years of age by the date of the next election and not in prison or on parole for conviction of a felony.
