@rbrob Actually I have a really nice one. I'll be wearing it tomorrow. Just to show the IJM folks that I can contextualize.
Best part of meeting with the International Justice Mission Institute: no suits required. Today anyway.
What a great day . . . mindstretching and heartrending conversations & prayer, + great food, with some of my greatest friends and heroes.
@AaronMcGallegos But there's a pretty nice hotel here with great rates . . . and the aforementioned Christmas tree. :)
@AaronMcGallegos National Harbor, in Prince George Cty, MD . . . several acres of brand new virtual reality. http://tinyurl.com/5mhyd5
DC's equivalent of Dubai features a computerized Xmas tree + light show with synchronized hi-def music, every half hour. Surreal but true!
I'm in DC's equivalent of Dubai :) with @bethanyhoang @shayner48 + a bunch more @ijminstitute non-tweeters. Looking forward to a great mtg.
just selected the 7 finalists for the Bosscher-Hammond Prize in integrating faith and vocation. Funnest conference call EVER.

Really encouraging time tonight with my extended family. Now on the way home thinking deep thoughts about childhood, growing up, and grace.
Traveling to Atlanta today to mourn and give thanks for my uncle, Thomas Hawkins. Requiescat in pace.
@Davoh Ouch. I have a feeling I know *exactly* what you're feeling. I should tell you about Andy's summer of 2008 sometime.
"By the glowing ember / I shut out the bleak-tombed evenings of November." Or December, as the case may be.
@GregAtkinson Unfortunately I don't know of a Dallas group right now . . . but if you start one I'll spread the word!
