I'm not mad at McCain, exactly, but boy, he should've been Sarkozy.
Argh ... feel confused. Argh. Knots in my stomach. Some smart Republicans are going to bite the dust tonight.
As a conservative, I feel ... weirdly wistful. As a 28-year-old, I feel nervous and happy about my generation seizing control of America.
@ascheink In TV studio. Will be here for a while.
Irony of an Obama victory #1: right-wing Americans will use it to score points against left-wing Europeans for decades to come.

Ed Felten for CTO!
Three years ago I apparently told a friend I would vote for any "brown man" who ran for president. I have not lived up to this pledge.

Worse yet, I tried, and failed, to register. A lot of my conservative comrades are skeptical about same-day registration: don't be!
I'm not voting today. I haven't voted since 2000, when I chose a candidate I believed in: George W. Bush. And that didn't turn out well.
About to leave Austin: haven't met a non-Obamaphile, a la Pauline Kael.
I have a complicated relationship with Rihanna: we have similar names, and similarly huge foreheads.
