@Wolven There IS a time to dance, you know. That time is evidently every 25 years or so.
@BrianLynch I dunno how I missed that ep before but that was an awesome Kiwi Bacon spectacle. I hope Zac Ephron is half that good.
Although Kevin Bacon's "dance of anger" is one of the best scenes ever in a movie. Almost as good as this: http://tinyurl.com/68xwwh
Writing about aliens, watching FOOTLOOSE and wondering how that movie ever got made. Let alone about to get remade.
Second writers' proof of the coming COMIC BOOKS 101 book done and being sent back to the publisher. Next up: the design stage.
Tree-lighting ceremonies are better in theory, aren't they? Although usually not even then.
I lived like Howard Hughes today, shut inside all day long with no one around. And yes, I'm including the jars o' urine thing, too.
Got a new artist on my Frazetta book for Image. A hint: he's awesome. And he used to do FAUST.
Am I the only one enjoying Eddie Trunk's THAT METAL SHOW on VH-1 Classic? Probably.
Why did I buy Monopoly for the Wii? Evidently I'm too lazy to roll actual dice.
Wizard magazine did us a proper today, that was nice to see. Also nice to see: the sun.
Need still more proof that Ben Templesmith is wizardly and awesome? Fine, here you go: http://tinyurl.com/5o4nda
Jay Leno is coming to NBC prime time... and the country shrugs indifferently and goes about its business.
A long night of drinking that includes dark beer, RI bbq, and Simon Furman and is over by 9:30 means a good buzz but no hangover tomorrow.
Since I fly home tomorrow, I'm hoping that's the last plane to fall out of the air in San Diego for a long while
Always discomforting to hear from the wife while I'm in R.I. and be told "don't worry, the plane didn't hit me when it fell from the sky."
@erica_farglow It was like the flight in Almost Famous without the awkward confessions. And now it's 10 degrees outside.
@david_slade I didn't take it, really! I would've just taken the entire car. Dig!! was one of the best discs this year, too.
@BrianLynch The gremlin was freezing his ass off so I gave him my seat and kept 'im warm. Carving up airplane wings is better in the spring
On the plane today, I learned Duane Swierczynski is a good novelist, Grinderman is a good Nick Cave disc, and DEXTER season 2 ended nicely
