This AP "news report" is nothing more than a CBS press release bashing on NBC. Every quote is from Moonves. Not news! http://is.gd/b7U1
Thanks Walmart and USPS for *losing* my Beedle the Bard book that I pre-ordered. OTOH, my Amazon+UPS order w/ free shipping arrived early.
After months of calling, days of being on hold & bounced around phone trees - after lies & failed promises - AT&T finally fixed my DSL bill.
@amberweinberg Just to stay "Windows literate." It's only on a 20GB partition, and mainly going to be run as a virtual machine in Parallels.
Facebook has a weird take on copyright. They seem to think that if you appear in the art (photo, video) etc, you can copy or upload it. Hmm.
Reinstalling Vista on my Macbook was as awful as I remebered- all Vista's fault. I'll blog about it eventually. Now ready to watch #Heroes.
What's this? Program Manager in Windows Vista? Apparently, if you use the MS Digital Media Keyboard viewer key. http://twitpic.com/rapz
@sschablow I don't believe Qik for non-jailbroken iPhones will ever be available. I don't think Apple will API the "raw" camera access.
@mannkind @nickfranklin I'm not familiar with SBSettings. I realized I left out Backgrounder (run apps in bg), however. Great for audio.
@heroespodcast Uploading and posting at 4am? That's dedication.
@nickfranklin Sorry, forgot about the Jailbroken apps: PdaNet (tethering), Flashlight (max brightness), Qik, Cycorder, Categories, and SSH.
@nickfranklin Oh, and we're fortunate that our PKs are pretty good kids. Not the wild child 7th Heaven Mary kind. Preacher is a "real" guy.
@nickfranklin That thought is true 4 many churches, but our church doesn't "tell people what to do." It focuses on clarifying the Bible.
Point 8: I missed it. Point 9: Don't allow them to be children forever. Point 10: Dob't forget to pray for them. Luke 11:5-13. #GLiCoS
Point 7: Use Christ-like principals, not do's and don'ts. Don't go beyond scripture; don't be judgmental. Preferences != Biblical authority.
Point 6: Don't waste the early years. Spurgeon: first lesson to child should be about his mother's God. Literacy through learning scripture.
Don't teach to worry about grades. Teach the biblical pricipal of working diligently! Point 5: Don't sacrifice spouse at alter of children.
I can see myself losing followers now. Don't worry folks. Only 10 points. Point 4: Don't have strictly worldly goals. Psa 78:7. Phil 3:7.
Point 3: Don't make idols out of children. Isa 44:6. Nothing is wrong w/ sports, teams, etc., but don't let it become your worship service.
Point 2, flipside: Don't fail to discipline. Prov 22:15. Heb 12:6-9. Demonstrates you care for their good. Obediance is learned.
