@jimberly That's my job, actually. ;-) I'd be very much into writing something up...lets chat.
Off to help lead a 2-day training on how to work with LGBTsurvivors of domestic violence
@harveymilk Thanks, Chris. It's a different kind of activism, but activism nevertheless
re:"Milk,"- time/GLBT activism has created a vehicle for folks like me to do this professionally... Hope to carry the torch, honor my peeps.
Felt many similarities between Milk's fight against Anita Bryant/Prop 6 & recent Prop 8. The nat'l protests renewed my faith in activism.
I am so moved by "Milk,"and thrilled that this film exists. I want to take to the streets after watching this movie -make a difference.
Enjoying 30 Rock episodes at home, under my comforter....I LOVE life!
Wishes that helping professionals were paid better
Happily exhausted from a very full weekend full of social justice and fun.
@gendercrash Saw you speak today and was very moved. Rock on, Gunner!
Disturbed that Treasure Island Media is making "conversion party" bareback gay porn. ..
Discussing tonight whether kabbalah predated Judaism or not...or can the 2 be separated out?
Looking forward to being part of the nat'l H8 protest on Saturday
I wonder if white LGBT people spoke about /fought racism more, we'd grow support from straight people of color for gay rights
The black/latino vote for Prop 8 suggests that white gays fighting racism should, in turn grow support to fight homophobia
I can't help but feel sad about some of the steps backward we took, even if there's a LOT to celebrate. Yes, we can?
Yes, we can! I'm so excited and hopeful for the future, but I'm biting my nails over the Prop 8 vote in CA, now leaning toward the bigots
@Jimberly Yes- I can't decide if I liked her dress or not...at least it had a point of view
Cheered the NYC marathon runners this AM in central park. Amazing!
