@andrewg616, yeah, I agree, it may not be bad. It's more that the FDA hasn't been this helpful in partnering w/ NLM and other agencies.
I've heard the FDA is notoriously hesitant to make these kinds of partnerships (even possibly w/ Medline+), so it's a little strange.
@fredschueler, it's available, b/c gov't information is in the public domain. The partnership means that FDA is actually pushing it out.
On one hand, more informed health consumers is probably a good thing. On the other, WebMD is a commercial site with advertising. Bad idea?
