There's nothing worse than waking up at 4:00 AM to a screaming, crying child...except going in there to find her throwing up everywhere.
I think AT&T U-Verse is in my future. Charter raised my bill by $50/mo. for no additional services. Plus AT&T just added FoxSports Det. HD.
@johnsheehan yeah, that would be better. Still, the syntax is easier to remember I think.
Someone spray painted the word "Coward" on a neighbor's truck in the middle of the night. I'd say that's the definition of irony.
I found the article I was looking for about ending ids and jQuery: http://is.gd/bCjZ - you can do $(":asp('myId')"); Not sure that's simpler
@Kizmar I saw client seletor. More reliable than end matching, but more complicated and requires that you change the control.
@nbryan I know i can do $("*[id$='myId']") to match the ending, but seems like I saw a plugin that makes that easier. But I forget where.
Is there a jQuery plugin to make selecting elements whose ids have been mangled by asp.net easier?
@kirstinj The tree is a little more sparce than normal, and the non-breakable ornaments are near the bottom. Hopefully he won't pull it over
Fnall got the tree decorated tonight. Now, we get to spend two weeks keeping our 1 yr old's hands off of the ornaments.
@mjeaton Your cursor is focused on twitter instead of visual studio again. ;-)
@bradwilson Try connecting to a computer with multiple monitors. I had 1/2 my remote desktop completely black, and the other half squished.
@SteveAndrews Or it might be time to see a doctor! ;-)
@eriklane That's probably true. I should just set them to auto install anyway. That's what I do for the rest of the family.
Just realized tonight that The Wife's computer doesn't have Vista SP1. She said "Oh, I just keep clicking the close button when it asks me"
I had no idea that string.Format("First: {0}, Second: {1}, Third: {0}.", "A", "B"); would actually work until tonight.
@arcware I've dabbled with it, but nothing serious. Easy to integrate into a build though. Not to fail the build, but to identify smells.
I just realized my laptop has a built-in light to light up the keyboard. interesting.
@mjeaton @nkohari's not saying everywhere, but he did say to use "sealed" if it's not static.
