The JavaScript Source is an excellent JavaScript resource with tons of "cut and paste" JavaScript examples for your Web pages. All for free!

Latest Additions to The JavaScript Source

Image Effects: Banner Rotater - Use this script to rotate your banner ads. Just set the images, URLs and the delay time. Very easy to implement.

Ajax Tutorials: Introduction to PHP and Ajax - Ajax is a collection of technologies which allows a script to communicate with a server in real time. This series is an introduction to the power of Ajax. If you have mastered basic JavaScript, you can begin to use it immediately.

Miscellaneous: Testimonial Container - This script creates a nice little format for displaying testimonials. The container is initially displayed in a collapsed stated, and then expanded for the entire testimonial. It can also be used to highlight comments, featured products or news stories. Easy to implement. A nice addition to any site!

Tutorials: How to Grey Out the Screen - This tutorial will show you how to "gray" out the screen and create a "modal" environment. A "gray-out" is useful for creating a DHTML dialog box, or showing off a picture or video. While it's active, most of the interactive elements on the page are inactive.

Snippets: A Modular Toolbox - Creating and maintaining an effective JavaScript toolbox can greatly reduce development time. This script will show you how to include specific snippet modules on individual pages. Comments and a tutorial are included.

More Additions: We add new scripts and tutorials on a regular basis. Be sure you didn't miss any of the most recent additions.

Keep up with our latest scripts and tutorials:
