Graduate Academic Program Information
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOU
- You will not be eligible for financial aid for undergraduate courses that do not apply to your specific graduate or teacher's certification academic program. You must be enrolled in a minimum of 4 graduate hours per term to receive aid.
- If you are taking undergraduate courses required for your graduate academic program, you may be eligible for financial aid for these programs.
- As a Post Baccalaureate Seeking a Second Undergraduate degree, you will not be eligible for financial aid for graduate courses. You must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 undergraduate hours.
- Twelve (12) months after you have been activated as a PB GDES, PB GACT or PB Pre-Cert, you will be ineligible for financial aid consideration until your academic program no longer reflects any of these PB programs.
- Although federal financial aid eligibility may be limited or eliminated, you may be able to pursue alternative sources of funding your education.

ACADEMIC PROGRAMS
Post Baccalaureate Degree Seeking Not Admitted to a Degree Program (PB GDES)
- Allowed only one consecutive 12-month period of eligibility
- 12-month period begins the first term activated whether or not financial aid was applied for or received
- Eligible for Graduate Preparatory level Stafford loans
- Undergraduate lifetime loan limits apply
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 4 graduate hours per term to receive aid
- Not eligible for college work-study and state/institutional grant funding
Post Baccalaureate Graduate Academic Certification (PB GACT)
- Allowed only one consecutive 12-month period of eligibility
- 12-month period begins the first term activated whether or not financial aid was applied for or received, even if prior to the current academic year
- Eligible for Preparatory level Stafford loans
- Undergraduate lifetime loan limits apply
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 4 graduate hours per term to receive aid
- Not eligible for college work-study and state/institutional grant funding
Post Baccalaureate Pre-Teacher Certification (PB Pre-Cert)
- Allowed only one consecutive 12 month period of eligibility
- 12-month period begins the first term activated whether or not financial aid was applied for or received
- Eligible for Preparatory level Stafford loans
- Undergraduate lifetime loan limits apply
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 4 graduate hours per term to receive aid
- Not eligible for college work-study and state/institutional grant funding
Post Baccalaureate Graduate Non-Degree (PB GD Non-Deg)
- Not eligible for financial aid
- You may be able to pursue alternative sources of funding
Post Baccalaureate Graduate Preparation (PB Grad Prep)
- Not eligible for Financial Aid

Post Baccalaureate Seeking Second Undergraduate Degree
