Stephen Oeffner is associate vice president of Finance & Administration at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and provides oversight of the Finance Division, including accounting, budget, payroll, purchasing and information technology departments.
While at the Health Science Center, Mr. Oeffner has served as information resource manager, the senior technology representative, and liaison to the State of Texas Department of Information Resources. He was also chair of the Information Resource Planning Council and a representative on the University of North Texas’ Information Resource Planning Council.
Prior to joining the Health Science Center in 1996, Mr. Oeffner was the regional budget officer for Regional Trust Corporation, and before that, he held positions with Precision Micro Works, Inc., Gerald D. Hines Interests, and Cooper & Lybrand.
Mr. Oeffner earned his Bachelor of Science in management and accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and his Master of Science in computer information systems from the University of Phoenix – On Line.
He has holds a PeopleSoft certification, is a Master Oracle Developer, and has trained on numerous financial software programs.
