The Learning Center was created to supplement and support academic excellence and life-long learning. A wide range of individual, group and self-help programs and materials are provided to maximize the academic potential of all University of North Texas students. Online tutoring, RASSL (Reading and Study Skills Laboratories), Supplemental Instruction, Supplemental Tutoring, Volunteer Tutor Program, Learning Success Workshops, Connecting for Success, Academic Success Program, and the Academic Resource Library are all housed in the center.

Want to be a Volunteer Tutor?

The Volunteer Tutor Program is a free service in which top UNT students volunteer to help their fellow students by tutoring them in various courses.

Want to be a Supplemental Instructor or Supplemental Tutor?

Supplemental Instruction (SI) and Supplemental Tutoring (ST) targets traditionally difficult classes and provide regularly scheduled, out of class, group study session led by fellow UNT students. Supplemental Instructors and Supplemental Tutors are paid positions.
