Welcome to the Turkish Institute for Police Studies (TIPS) Online,
This site is administered by TIPS that is coordinated by the Turkish
National Police (TNP) and the University of North Texas (UNT) along
with the other twenty universities in the US working with TIPS.
The TIPS aims to combine the theoretical experience of the American
Law Enforcement Agencies with the practical experience of the Turkish
National Police in the policing areas especially in terrorism, organized
crime, narcotics, administration, intelligence, investigation. Our
ultimate goal is to explore new practical and functional approaches
to the global crime problem by using our extensive experience throughout
our academic journey as professionals. For this reason, we pursue
the following:
- Graduate Studies including Masters and PhD. Programs on different
subject areas.
- Sharing our experience and knowledge with the relevant law enforcement
agencies in the world.
- Publication of our research on different subject areas,
- Attending associated Academic Conferences and Seminars.
- Professional training programs.
