About the System

The University of North Texas System serves the North Texas area, boosting economic activity in the region by nearly $2 billion annually. More than 36,000 students are enrolled in undergraduate, graduate and professional programs, and system enrollment is projected to increase to about 45,000 students by 2015. System Highlights

DISD student and coach at UCDUCD again hosts DISD University Bound Summit

The second annual DISD University Bound Summit – a rapid-start program of hands-on sessions for college-bound students — held at the Universities Center at Dallas on October 23 and 24 — was a tremendous success.

Nearlly 600 students, all of whom had passed the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS™), attended several sessions designed to propel them into college.
