@sleslie You've got a good reason-- you're going to Colombia! Now that @jstein character...
Baked a few loaves of "Cuban" Bread -- the easiest risen bread I know how to make: http://tinyurl.com/6qstzc Kneading is good for the soul.
@keiramc Sweet. That's a production that inspires book lust even without having read it.
New@ CosmoPo - 15th installment in my (now rather lonely) reading of Ulysses - http://tinyurl.com/6jchv2 - I am only reading group survivor?
@keiramc Thanks. Added the Crowley to my list. I've read nothing of his before...
@hrheingold In that vein, am reading _Giordano Bruno: Philosopher/Heretic_ and it's great-- amazing thinker/charactger. Love the tricksters!
@hrheingold Have you read _Descartes' Bones_? Given your Tweet I think it's one you would enjoy...
Giordano Bruno bio/history is fascinating... a fabulous double-edged intellect painfully split between Scholasticism and dramatic Platonism.

@jstein Joking out of disbelief that you'd think the amount of funding and result was coincidental. I am strong for public funding though
@jstein You hope money doesn't play a role in elections? Really? Sounds like another good reason for (only) publically funded elections...
@clintlalonde Server Mojo? Which I heard about from @CogDog I think
@holden @jstein iPod + MediaMonkey is a combination that's hard to beat. For everything else: FooBar of course!
@sleslie in order for me: WNYC Radio Lab, KCRW Bookworm, Democracy Now
@chrisbeks Thanks-- I was just surveying the state of free software...
Is Audacity the best (most capable) free sound editor for Windows?
@jstein I prefer the Riverside, but depending on the purpose/audience sometimes recommend others... not sure about PD texts.
Two decent new articles on David Foster Wallace: http://tinyurl.com/5zzz2a and http://tinyurl.com/5rekm3
I'm in a rare mood, desiring some specifics in the emerging education discussions. Might be the wrong field for that (myself included).
@gsiemens if changing one's mind on big issues is a sign of intelligence and thought, then I'm brilliant Einstein-style. Why do I doubt it?
