Older docs can be so condescending. My mom's is unfazed that he's failed to diagnose her pain for 6 months & he treats her like a moron.
@NBCNewsCrew Years ago, I did a term paper on truck drivers. I was fascinated how many professionals left their jobs for life on the road.
WHYY segment about the future of the media was disturbing for PR folks and journalists. http://tinyurl.com/mcd8f
Even A's eye doc has wifi (in the waiting room). Pretty cool to be able to work and Tweet while being kept waiting.
Public speaking tip: when accepting an award for your company, introduce yourself and colleagues on stage with you to engage your audience
@ProfNet Welcome to my life -- two jobs, three kids, a dog, a special needs kid and no time
@SpotlightPR You know that I started buying the Chai mix instead of buying my chai at Starbucks, right? $4 for a week, instead of $4/day
@danielrubin As long as you weren't caught with weed
@Jnobianchi That's great. I've been hearing so much from colleagues about work drying up. Maybe your clients "get it" better than most.
Thinking about attending the PR awards with a client tomorrow and celebrating their two awards and my role in their big wins.
Networking all day. Mtgs with colleagues made it clear the down economy has hit PR hard. Clients should know not to cut marketing now.
Ugh. Chanuka shopping.
Netflixed last season of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. 30 Rock just can't compare to a Schlamme/Sorkin series. Where is all the smart TV?
@jerseyshorejen Neiman's is having a huge dress sale with lots of gorgeous Nanette Lepore. Check online or head up to KofP. Indulge & save.
@lwcavallucci Isn't LG Shine just Verizon?
Decided on the iPhone, but can't find decent phones at AT&T for the kids for family plan. Kids want QWERTY and good camera. Any suggestions?
@lwcavallucci Danny read it last year and said the book is better than the movie. It's cool that our kids want to see a movie like this.
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is a must see, particularly with kids mature enough to discuss it (10 and up). Acting and story are superb.
@jerseyshorejen Love it! We have three green rooms -- a sage, a honeydew (kids' room) and an olive. Rest Hardware has great colors too.
