@GeorgeReese the ec2 launch time is ok. even dynmaic apps should be able to look 15 minute into the future. :) when does your book come out? |
@GeorgeReese wrt to relability, you have a point there. it's a trade off. Lots of 9's for lot's of $'s. Most s3 problems don't effect ec2. |

@GeorgeReese Why do you think dynamic scaling is a result of the lack of capacity planning? For us, it is a specific part of our cap plan. |
@GeorgeReese I guess YMMV. But for us, dynamic scaling is *the* thing that makes EC2 make economic sense. |
