grabbing wordpress 2.7 to fiddle with on my test server, before all you coolkids clog the intertubes.
@therohmance very interesting, thanks for the link. she hung up on them, i wonder if they'll call back again.
two times this week, we've had someone call from a 210 area code, asking (whomever answers) to confirm my business/personal info.
@webdav why didn't you tell me that before i turned 35? d'oh!
@jayroh I've done it before. Depends on the scope. :)
@michaelwitwicki having wireless sending data constantly would probably kill your battery right quick.
the wind continued all night, been recording gusts in the 30's. now the rain has picked back up.
Now we're getting ferocious winds from the southwest. i periodically check the anemometer - to make sure it's still there.
@billnordwall congrats! i caught a sneak at Clerk Dogs while you were working on it. ;) very cool.
42F outside. it's 600% warmer than it was yesterday at this time.
@jayroh lucky! say hi to the peeps for me. i'll be at home, keepin' it real.
RT @thecropsie: Cool city typographic posters: http://www.orkposters.com <-- very cool!
@marcamos @buildguild and all my coastal peeps, have fun tonight!
done running about this afternoon. now, to finish one or two of the five things i started this morning.
the quick-selection tool has completely replaced any skills i had in photoshop that could have otherwise been considered "sorcery."
oh man, @ShipyardBrewing had me at "Prelude beer tower" too bad i'm nowhere near Maine.
@jayroh on the bright side, the ID doesn't start with a dollar sign or underscore. that's like a .Net jackpot!
@briandigital it requires discipline (something i'm lacking in, myself) but when i get around to writing, i find it helps me.
@bokardo but also keep a sidebar list of topics/ideas for other posts. just don't switch gears immediately.
@bokardo approach it like a project--outline success criteria; "this post will explain X, Y (and nothing more)" use that to keep focus.
