As referenced in Circular Letter 388, dated November 22, 1994, funding for the printing, binding, and distribution of the U.S. Code is no longer being provided to offices of the Executive and Judicial Branches out of Congressional Printing and Binding Funds.
This is to inform all departments and agencies that the Government Printing Office has established February 1, 2008 as the ABSOLUTE deadline for the receipt of orders to ride the printing of the U.S. Code, 2006 Edition (which, depending on final page count, will comprise from 37 to 45 volumes to form a set). Please use the following estimated rider rates, based on a 45-volume set, when preparing your requisitions. Your actual costs will be lower if the set comprises fewer volumes.
