Region 4 seeks to promote the reuse of sites by removing barriers to reuse and providing helpful information and assistance to the public. Each revitalization site or project is different, and each site will likely require unique or tailored revitalization tools and approaches. However, there are site-specific steps that can be undertaken that will allow you to take advantage of appropriate revitalization tools and resources to redevelop a site.

EPA Headquarters and EPA Region 4 have developed a number of tools and information sources to help communities, governments, developers, and organizations interested in reusing contaminated and formerly contaminated properties.
