Shoshonea pulvinata
- Similar Species: Musineon spp. have erect stems and stalked, glabrous fruit. Other members of the carrot family, in Wyoming, have twice or more compound leaves, winged fruit, or glabrous inflorescences and fruits.
- Flowering/Fruiting Period: May-July.
- Distribution: Endemic to S Montana and the Absaroka and Owl Creek mountains of Wyoming (Fremont, Hot Springs, and Park Cos.).
- Habitat: Shallow, stony calcareous soils of exposed limestone outcrops, ridgetops, and talus slopes. Elev. 5900-9200 ft.
