Salix myrtillifolia var. myrtillifolia
- Similar Species: S. boothii is taller and has sparsely pubescent leaves with petioles over 5 mm long. S. wolfii has silvery-hairy leaves.
- Flowering/Fruiting Period: June-July.
- Distribution: Alaska to Newfoundland, south to Alberta and Manitoba; disjunct in NW Wyoming (Park Co.) and Colorado.
- Habitat: Lake and stream banks, floodplain thickets, bogs, and moist white spruce forests. Elev. 6600 ft.
