Massachusetts – EPA NE Performance Partnership Agreement (PPA)
The performance partnership agreement outlines the goal, mission, activities and actions that the state environmental agency will be completing during the current performance partnership cycle (usually two or three years). The partnership is between the State of Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and EPA New England.

Cape Cod Commission
The Commission was established as a regional planning and regulatory agency to prepare and implement a regional land use policy plan for all of Cape Cod, review and regulate Developments of Regional Impact, and recommend designation of certain areas as Districts of Critical Planning Concern.
Martha’s Vineyard Commission
The Martha's Vineyard Commission is the regional planning agency of Dukes County, which is made up of the six towns of Martha's Vineyard—Aquinnah, Chilmark, Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, Tisbury and West Tisbury—as well as the town of Gosnold on the Elizabeth Islands.

New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC)
NEIWPCC is a nonprofit interstate agency that serves and assists—Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont—by coordinating activities and forums that encourage cooperation among the states, educating the public about key water quality issues, supporting research projects, training environmental professionals, and providing overall leadership in water management and protection.
Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use Management (NESCAUM)
NESCAUM is a nonprofit association of air quality agencies in the Northeast. NESCAUM's Board of Directors consists of the air directors of the six New England states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont), New Jersey, and New York. NESCAUM provide scientific, technical, analytical, and policy support to the air quality programs of the eight Northeast states.
Northeast Waste Management Officials' Association (NEWMOA)
NEWMOA is a nonprofit, nonpartisan interstate association that has a membership composed of the hazardous waste, solid waste, waste site cleanup and pollution prevention program directors for the environmental agencies in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. NEWMOA was established by the Governors of the New England states as an official regional organization to coordinate interstate hazardous and solid waste, and pollution prevention activities and support state waste programs.
