6 November 2008: In support of the world's continuing battle against malaria the Pan American Health Organization and the Center for Global Health at the George Washington University will host the 2008 commemoration forum for Malaria Day in the Americas: Overcoming the Challenges of a Borderless Disease.

 RBM Harmonization Working Group Meeting
Geneva, 28-29 October 2008: The RBM Harmonisation Working Group gathered in Geneva today for its bi-annual meeting to agree on priority activities and outputs for 2009 and share information on key developments and next steps.
 RBM Rolls Out Malaria Management Tool
Abuja, 20 October 2008: An RBM-led team of experts has begun consultations in Nigeria to assist the country in finalizing its malaria control business plan. The team uses a new management tool, developed by the RBM Partnership and McKinsey & Co that aims to help malaria-endemic countries to manage, monitor, and report on malaria control activities at all service delivery levels.
