DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
General Petroleum*, Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded
a $6,688,962 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract
for marine gas oil.
Six hundred seventy eight proposals were
solicited and forty five were received.
Work will be performed
in Alameda, Calif.; Concord, Calif.; La Jolla, Calif.; Oakland,
Calif.; Richmond, Calif.; and San Francisco, Calif.; and is
expected to be completed by Jan. 30, 1999.
Funds will not expire
at the end of the fiscal year.

Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-97-D-
0017).
ARMY
Raytheon Electronics Systems, Andover, Mass., is being
awarded a $15,291,500 letter contract modification to a not-to-
exceed $30,583,000 firm fixed price contract for concurrent spare
parts to support the Saudi Arabia Phase III Modification Program.
Work will be performed in Andover, Mass., and is expected to be
completed by Aug. 30, 1999.
Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year.

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY
Moore & Cowart Contractors Inc.*, Albuquerque, N.M., is
being awarded a $3,000,000 increment as part of an $8,039,584
firm fixed price contract for the Bluff Channel Flood Control
project which consists of approximately 12,000 feet of
trapezoidal and/or rectangular concrete lined channel, 500 feet
of concrete box culverts, approximately 300,000 yards of
excavation, 300 feet of sewer line relocation, and 70,000 yards
of required waste.
Work will be performed in El Paso, Texas, and
is expected to be completed by July 1, 1998.
Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
There were 45
bids solicited on Oct. 11, 1996, and six bids were received.
The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,
Albuquerque, N.M. (DACW47-97-C-0004).
AIR FORCE
Electro-Methods, Incorporated, South Windsor, Conn., is
being awarded a $6,654,354 firm fixed price contract to provide
for 282 compressor stators applicable to the TF-33 engine on

the E-3 aircraft.
Contract is expected to be completed August
1997.

expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

solicited and 2 proposals received.
Solicitation began November
1995; negotiations were completed November 1996.

Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, Okla., is the contracting
activity (F34601-97/C-0018).
NAVY
Centex Construction Company, Incorporated, Fairfax, Va., is
being awarded a $32,270,000 firm-fixed-price contract for
construction of an advanced system integration laboratory at the
Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Md.
Work will be performed
in
Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed by November
1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year.
This contract was competitively procured with 22
proposals solicited and seven offers received.

Field Activity Chesapeake, Naval Facilities Engineering Command,
Washington, DC, is the contracting activity (N62477-94-C-0010).
Applied Research Laboratory, Pennsylvania State University,
State College, Pa., is
being awarded a $322,033,548 cost-plus-fixed-fee, level-of-
effort, task order contract with
a maximum level-of-effort of 3,420,900 staff hours for research
and development in the areas
of environmental description and effects prediction, torpedoes,
undersea countermeasures, navigation, acoustic reconnaissance and
search, mine countermeasures and special sensors.
Funds being
obligated today are $154,500.
Work will be performed in State
College, Pa.,
and is expected to be completed by September 2001.
Contract
funds will expire at the end
of the current fiscal year.

Integrated Performance Decisions, Incorporated, North
Stonington, Conn., is being awarded a modification to previously
awarded contract N00024-96-C-6420 for support services for
research and development, updating, and modification of the
Undersea Warfare (USW) System Operating Guidelines, Sensor
Performance Prediction Systems and Tactical Decision Aids.
Work
will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be
completed by December 1997.
Contract funds in the amount of
$1,698,852 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

Chrysler Technologies Airborne Systems, Incorporated, Waco,
Texas, is being awarded
a $31,669,531 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-
94-C-0224 for the procurement of four E-6B Retrofit Kits with
Group A and B components, the installation of four E-6B Retrofit
Kits, and the installation of one E-6B Avionics Trainer.
Work
will be performed in Waco, Texas (85%), and Greenville, Texas
(15%), and is expected to be completed by October 1998.
Contract
