I submitted an application over two weeks ago, but I get the “Application Not Found” page when I check the status online. What should I do?
- For electronic applications, be sure that the Social Security Number and first two letters of your last name that you are entering match what is shown on the confirmation page you printed. If you do not have a confirmation page, contact Customer Service.
- If you submitted a paper FAFSA, the status of your application should display online within 7-10 days from the date the application was mailed. Contact Customer Service for assistance.
When will the schools listed receive my FAFSA information?
Any school you have listed on your FAFSA will receive an electronic
copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR) once your application has been
processed.
TIP: Foreign schools may not be able to receive your SAR electronically. Check with the school to see if they will need a paper copy of the SAR.
If I don't get my Student Aid Report (SAR) within two weeks, should
I reapply?
No. Check on the status of your application by selecting

FAFSA or Print Signature Page under the FAFSA Follow-Up
section of the home page.
I have already submitted a FAFSA for this school year. Can I submit
another FAFSA using FAFSA on the Web?
No. If you have already submitted a FAFSA (for instance, your school
already submitted an electronic application for you, you submitted a
paper FAFSA, or you filed for aid using FAFSA on the Web), do not
