CMMI programs sponsor a variety of research agenda-setting workshops, researcher development programs, and grantee meetings through out the year. These meetings are both iniatiated by the community and by CMMI program directors as means to encourage collaboration and new ideas for research. CMMI will also provide support to attend and faclitate international meetings to encourage such partnerships on a global scale.
