NCEE and EPA's National Center for Environmental Research (NCER) jointly sponsor the Environmental Policy and Economics Workshop Series. The purpose of this series is to hold in-depth workshops on timely topics that will further the use of economics as a tool for environmental decision making. Workshop presenters are primarily drawn from the pool of investigators whose research is funded through EPA and EPA/NSF grants; however, other researchers (e.g., from EPA, other federal agencies, or in academia) often participate.

The goals of the Workshop are to: Past workshop topics include valuing health risks to children, the validity and use of stated preference methods, and water use and watershed management issues. If you want to find out about future workshops, please subscribe to our email service or watch the News Alert box on our home page. Workshops are free and are generally held in the Washington, DC area.

Use the "Quick Links" at the upper right to find the agenda and proceedings of past workshops. More information on NCER and all previously funded research can be found on the NCER homepage. Similar information is also available for just those grants in the area of environmental economics.
