Mental health goes hand in hand with physical health to promote overall health and well-being. But doctors often don't ask their male patients about sensitive topics, such as personal issues or emotional health. So, if you're feeling stressed out or not yourself, don't hold back—tell your doctor. A few lifestyle changes might be all you need to feel better. Also, many mental health problems—including mental illnesses—are treatable. Taking charge of your mental health will help you to be a better coworker, husband, father, and friend.
