    Notes:
    1. o-Methylcyclohexanone is a flavoring agent (Flavor and Extract Manufacturers Association number 3946; Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives number 1102) that is considered to be generally recognized as safe when used as a flavoring agent. It may also be used as a solvent in varnish and plastics manufacturing, and in rust removal.
    2. o-Methylcyclohexanone may be absorbed through the skin.
    3. No human studies on the disposition or biomonitoring of o-methylcyclohexanone were found; an efficient reduction to the corresponding alcohol by pig testicular 20ß-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase has been reported.
