Answer: All items of concern related to Libya’s WMD programs have either already been destroyed or are slated for destruction pursuant to Libya’s obligations under international regimes. In 2004, all elements of Libya’s nuclear weapons program were removed from Libya. Libya destroyed its CW munitions in 2004 and, in coordination with the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, is planning the destruction of its chemical agent and precursor stocks. 2007/632 |
