security number, organization (code), office location, and employment
status.

PURPOSES(S):
To maintain records on the Transit Subsidy Program.
None, except for those universal routine uses listed in the General
Prefatory Statement to this document.

Manual files are retained by the Financial Management Services Center,
in a file cabinet. Computer records are stored in a database server located in
a secure area accessible only by encoded security cards. Machine readable
version of the records is kept in a secure microcomputer (server) database.
Records are filed and retrieved by name or Social Security Number.
Records can be accessed only through the use of passwords given to
authorized DOL employees by the Database Administrator on a need to know
basis.
Records are retained for three years and then destroyed.

Inquiries should be mailed or presented to the system manager noted at

A request for access shall be addressed to the system manager at the
address listed above.
A petition for amendments shall be addressed to the System Manager and
must meet the requirements of the DOL Privacy Act regulations at 29 CFR 71.
Information contained in this system is from the DOL Payroll System and
the applicant.
