Answer: The Provisional Administrative Entity of South Ossetia, led by Dmitry Sanakoyev, is a regional administrative entity established by the Government of Georgia in 2007. It was located in Kurta, to the north of Tskhinvali, and was one of the areas most affected by South Ossetian shelling prior to the Russian invasion.
