Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 requires Federal agencies to complete background checks and issue PIV compliant identity credentials to all employees and contractors. OMB memorandum M-07-06 established a quarterly reporting requirement on these efforts. The following table is published in accordance with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) memorandum M-07-06, “Validating and Monitoring Agency Issuance of Personal Identity Verification Credentials” [available in PDF only]. The EEOC relies on government-wide shared services for the issuance of PIV compliant credentials.
