Rahall Announces $822K for McDowell and Mercer County Fire Departments

09/12/08Continuing his mission to seek funding for West Virginia's transportation projects, U.S. Rep. Nick J. Rahall (D-WV) helped lead final passage Thursday of H.R. 6532, the Highway Trust Fund Restoration Act, which would provide an immediate $8.017 billion infusion of funds to address the oncoming shortfall in the Highway Trust Fund and continue critical highway projects.
