IRS SEEKS TO RETURN REFUNDS AND ECONOMIC STIMULUS PAYMENTS TO399 SOUTHERN MINNESOTANS
MANKATO MN — Today, Congressman Walz and the Internal Revenue Service announced that 399 southern Minnesotans had either their economic stimulus check or their regular refund checks returned by the U.S. Postal Service due to mailing address errors. Through September 2008, the government distributed 116 million economic stimulus payments with only about 279,000 checks being undeliverable. ... (more)
