Single Party Primary

The primary election is held to nominate candidates who will represent each political party in the general election. Similarly, candidates who do not belong to a specific party must also be nominated in order to appear on the general election ballot as a nonpartisan candidate.

Election Information Services (EIS) is a telephone information and referral service provided on election day.

Information regarding the 200 foot perimeter around the polling place. Any person who remains or loiters within this area for the purpose of campaigning shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
