Rivers, trails and greenways connect us to our environment as well as provide communities with economic, health, and quality of life benefits. The National Park Service's Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance program (RTCA) assists community-based conservation action. Through working with our local partners, we hope to foster a network of rivers, trails and greenways that links people -- where they live and work -- to each other, to their community, and to the countryside. California, Hawai'i, and Nevada are served by offices based in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. Here you will find a description of our services available to those states, current projects, and past accomplishments. We also provide links to several popular RTCA publications including the Economic Impacts of Protecting Rivers, Trails and Greenway Corridors and the Creek Care Guide for Residents and Businesses. |
