The Hazardous Waste Management Program offers information
and services to help 1.7 million residents and 60,000
businesses and other groups reduce toxic and hazardous
materials, safely use and store hazardous materials and
properly dispose of hazardous wastes.

The Puget Sound Health Alliance is a regional partnership
of health care purchasers, plans, health care
professionals and patients collaborating to improve
quality and reduce costs in health care delivery across
King, Kitsap, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties.
Biodiesel pilot
program
King County Metro has committed to piloting the use of a
five percent blend of biodiesel to help power its fleet
of more than 1,200 buses over the next two years as part
of a Seattle City Light greenhouse gas mitigation
program.
