About us

Sea-Tac Smiles is a project of the King County Health Action Plan, Public Health – Seattle & King County and its partners the Sea-Tac Occupational Skills Center (OSC), Sea Mar Community Health Centers and the Washington Dental Service Foundation, funded through The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Local Initiative Funding Partners Program, whose goals are:

• to increase low-income South King County residents’ access to dental services by partnering with Sea Mar Community Health Centers to operate the 4 chair dental clinic that is part of the Dental Assisting Program at the Sea-Tac Occupational Skills Center (OSC) with a focus on serving children and families with an emphasis on prevention and promoting a lifetime of good oral health
• to provide prevention-focused community based training at the
  Sea-Tac Smiles Dental Clinic for dental professional students

Kids Get Care, ABCD, SeaTac Smiles, and the Children's Preventive Health Care Collaborative are programs of the King County Health Action Plan (KCHAP) who’s mission is to implement innovative collaborative policy development and pilot projects that focus on system change and improvement of worsening health trends affecting vulnerable populations within King County.\
