Description of services

The HIV/AIDS Program coordinates and collaborates with health care organizations, universities, community-based groups and other Health Department programs to provide essential prevention, research and care services.

The HIV/AIDS Program serves all of King County from its downtown Seattle offices located at 400 Yesler Way, 3rd Floor, Seattle, WA 98104. The phone number is 206-296-4649. Program sections located at the Yesler Building include: Administration, Education, Care, The Resource Library, Drug Use Prevention, The HIV/STD Hotline and Epidemiology.

Together, the HIV/AIDS Program staff perform a wide range of educational, and research activities as well as community-wide coordination, planning, and policy development.
