Smoke-free housing

housingThe Smoke-Free Housing project seeks to prevent residents of multiunit housing from being exposed to smoke in their homes.

This is done by assisting tenants, property managers, landlords, and housing authorities to make the homes they live in or own smoke-free. The project also builds support for protective regulation, such as offering incentives to developers of smoke-free properties.

If you would like help developing smoke-free properties, policies, or enforcing the statewide smoking ban in public places, please contact the Tobacco Prevention Program.
