Application worker
Public Health Application Workers can assist you over the phone or in person with filling out a medical application or a form.

Bereavement services for infant death
Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) counseling, education, referral and support for families by a Public Health Nurse (PHN). Grief and loss counseling available for families experiencing infant death.

Child Protective Services Project
Provides Public Health Nurse services to families referred by CPS.

Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN)
Assist in planning and obtaining medical care and other resources for the child with a disability or a condition that may prevent normal growth and development.

Family health clinic
Maternity services and primary care for pediatric and adult clients.

Family Planning and STD clinic
Family planning services and education and reproductive health care includes HIV and STD screening, pregnancy tests, birth control and referrals.

HIV screening
Basic evaluation of risk factors, client education on risk reduction and blood testing to check for HIV (virus that causes AIDS). Call 206-205-7837 for risk assessment and referral.

Home visits by a Public Health Nurse
Public Health Nurse visits are available to pregnant women, mothers with new babies and young children and families with health or parenting concerns. Services include health assessment, education and counseling and referral. Interpreters are available. Medical social workers are available on a limited basis.

Interpreter services
Interpreter services are available to limited or non-English speaking clients by appointment for public health services.

Maternity support services
MSS helps pregnant women find health insurance, local doctors or midwives and other community resources to support a healthy pregnancy. Individualized education and counseling services for women and their partners before and after birth. Provided in our clinic by a team of public health nurse, nutritionist and social worker.

Maternity screening
Office visit with a nurse to verify pregnancy, determine medical risk and financial status, and refer to appropriate prenatal services, including to DSHS for medical coupons, health care provider for maternity care, appropriate site for maternity support services and WIC Supplemental Food Program.

Tuberculosis (TB) testing
Screening and treatment for tuberculosis is available. TB skin testing and appropriate follow up are provided.

Teen clinic
Provide education and services for pregnancy prevention and for pregnant, parenting teens, and at-risk teens. See complete list of Public Health Teen Clinics.

Voter registration

Women, Infants and Children nutrition program (WIC)
WIC is a supplemental food program for women who are pregnant or breast feeding, infants and children.
