Campground Hosts needed!
The Shoshone is looking for
a few good people to volunteer as campground hosts. Hosts do not
earn a salary but do receive a stipend and necessary camp supplies.
Hosts are needed for:
Dead Indian Campground
Dates Needed: 5/26-9/15
Location: About 35 miles northwest of Cody on Hwy 296, Chief Joseph Scenic Byway
Elevation: 5600 feet
No of sites: 10
Stipend: $15 a day (5 days a week)
Hookups? No
Water? Supplied by FS
Cell/Wireless Service? Cell service close-about a mile away. Forest Service provides a satellite phone.
Fox Creek Campground
Dates Needed: 6/15-9/15
Location: About 7 miles southeast of Cooke City, MT on Hwy 212, Beartooth All-American Road
Elevation: 7000 feet
No of sites: 33
Stipend: $15 a day (5 days a week)
Hookups? Yes
Cell/Wireless Service? Yes - Forest Service also provides satellite phone.
