Battlefield:
Open to pedestrian traffic 7 days a week during daylight hours.

Tour Road:

  • Open season: April 1 through November 30, weather permitting.
  • Open Hours:
    • April 7 - September 30: 9am - 7pm
    • October 1 - Daylight Savings Time: 9am - 5pm
    • Daylight Savings Time - November 30: 9am - 4pm

Visitor Center:
Open 9am to 5pm daily, 7 days per week.  Scheduled closed only on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day.

Schuyler House:
Open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day,  Wednesday through Sunday, 9:30am to 4:30pm

Saratoga Monument:
Open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, Wednesday through Sunday, 9:30am to 4:30pm

At the time of the American Revolution, boys as young as their teens could be officers in the Army. There were boys as young as 14 and 15 who held the rank of lieutenant --and commanded men 2-3 times their age.
