The best way to stay safe is to adequately
prepare for your trip. Knowledge of the area, weather, and
your body limitations can help ensure an enjoyable
trip.
Restrictions & Closures
The Regional Forester and Forest Supervisors may issue orders
that restrict or close certain areas for several
reasons: fire activity, wildlife safety or unsafe conditions.
Please check the individual Forest or Grassland's Web
site for specific information.
