Ridership

King County Metro has attracted increased public transit ridership thereby reducing the use of personal cars. Fixed-route buses, on-demand services, the nation's largest public vanpool program, access for people with disabilities, commuter trip reduction programs, and our growing system of convenient park-and-ride lots all play a role in combating climate change.
