Under Secretary Jeffery signs a MOU on Biofuels in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Under Secretary of State for Economic, Energy and Agricultural Affairs Reuben Jeffery III traveled to Jakarta, Indonesia on September 9-12, following his participation at the APEC Ministerial Meeting in Sydney. Under Secretary Jeffery met with Indonesian government officials to discuss concrete steps to broaden trade and investment and explore new ways to enhance economic relations between the U.S. and Indonesia.

In addition, Under Secretary Jeffery visited U.S. businesses in Indonesia and held a policy roundtable on energy security and climate change. He visited the ASEAN Secretariat and led a grant signing ceremony on behalf of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency.
