Long-term Care Providers

Nearly all long‑term care providers in Oregon are affected by Medicare prescription drug coverage.  The Department of Human Services produced a manual, guidance for Medicare Part D enrollment, and the impact of the new program on long‑term care services.  Materials address issues facing residents who have Medicare and Medicaid as well as Medicare residents without Medicaid coverage.

The following material provides you with critical information on your role in the new Medicare prescription drug coverage program. We need your assistance in helping residents enroll in the best plan for them. The following handout has been developed to assist you in that process:
