Costs and extra help

Medicare prescription drug coverage includes costs for monthly premiums, annual deductibles, and copayments for prescriptions.  People with Medicare and Medicaid (including those for whom the State pays for their Medicare Part B premiums) will get extra help with these costs.  People who only have Medicare and who have limited income and resources can apply for this extra help through Social Security.
